Sara Schaffer
Sara Schaffer is a passionate follower of Jesus, a wife, mom, speaker and writer.
Sara desires to lead others into the deep love of Jesus Christ and the fulfilling life He offers. With a BA and background in Music Education, Sara is a natural at both educating and entertaining her audiences. For nearly ten years, she has been sharing inspirational insights on life and faith through speaking, writing, and music.
As a speaker, Sara has been a member the National Speaker’s Association, a frequent presenter for Stonecroft Ministries events and a Substitute Teaching Leader for Bible Study Fellowship. Currently she speaks at women’s retreats and special events.
As a writer, Sara’s eBook devotional: Up to Know Good, Daily Inspirations is available on Kindle. She is a contributing author in I Believe in Healing released in March, 2013 and in Miracles and Moments of Grace due out later in 2014. Her writings are also featured in the devotionals The Quiet Hour published by David C Cook and Devotions from Standard Publishing. She has a blog at her website uptoknowgood.com.
As a musician, Sara and friend Mike Boss co-created the CD There Is Hope several years after the death of Sara’s first husband Joshua. Her music is available on Amazon and iTunes.
Sara became a young widow when her first husband, Joshua, was killed in a ski accident at Keystone in 1999. After years of grief, discovering a passion for public speaking, and falling madly in love with both Jesus Christ and coffee, Sara began to heal. In 2004 she married Myron Schaffer. They now have two daughters and are living happily ever after in Broomfield, Colorado.
