Arguing with God
Up To Know Good on Friday

Half-awake and still in bed one morning, I started to pray. Still single at the time, I was getting up unusually early on a Saturday to attend a conference. As I said sleepy prayers, I heard God say, “Today you’ll meet the love of your life.” “I must be talking to myself,” I thought. The voice continued, “No, really, today you’ll meet the love of your life!” “Well,” I told God bluntly, “That’s a lot of pressure on a hello, but we’ll see how the day goes!”

Do Good - Do you question that God wants to do great and exciting things in your life? Pray BIG today and look for the large and small gifts God brings you all day long.

Later, one of my friends at the conference greeted me by saying, “Sara, you’re so beautiful!” Less than eight months later, we were married! If we’re wise, we will let God win every argument we have. I’m so grateful that He won this one.

God, my prayers are so small sometimes. Forgive me for arguing and resisting Your best! I love You!
