Get Up - Up To Know Good on Thursday

Get Up
Up To Know Good on Thursday

Blank email

I was helping a friend prepare a presentation. Throughout her talk Anne kept asking, “You know what I mean?” and “Don’t you think so?” When I asked why she felt the need for so many questions, Anne said that she simply wanted to interact with her audience. It gave her energy and assurance to have them respond to her.

Do Good - Respond to someone today through an email, a phone call, or a thank you. Notice how great it feels to interact and connect with others.

I empathized with Anne’s desire for interaction. The response of others’ validates what we say and do. In the story below, a man had a choice either to respond to Jesus by getting up or to let his friends carry him home. He made a choice that not only empowered him and validated Jesus’ miracle - he ultimately brought glory to God. May our responses to Jesus do the same today.

“Then He [Jesus] said to the paralytic, ‘Get up, take your mat and go home.’ And the man got up and went home.” Matthew 9:6b-7. Read the story.

Jesus, I don’t want to put off responding to those I love or to You any longer. I love You, and I love how good it feels to be connected to You.

Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

Sara

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!

Blessings,
Sara
