Who Is He?
Up To Know Good on Monday
July 31, 2006
One spring years ago, an old high school friend and I were both back in our home town. We met up and went for a walk. As we started to talk, the subject turned to God and faith. He asked me about several controversial subjects - evolution vs. creation, homosexuality, other religions vs. Christianity, etc. For the most part I found myself without many answers and was a little embarrassed at my inability to respond. That changed when he said, Sara, I always hesitated talking with you about this in high school because I thought you had all the answers.
Do Good - If someone starts to ask you about your faith, dont change the subject and dont worry about having all the answers. Just be yourself as you listen to them and to God.
I told my friend that Ive never had all the answers. I went on to tell him that there is really only one question to ask: who is Jesus? I believe other religious discussions can be distractions from this one key question.
But what about you? He [Jesus] asked. Who do you say I Am? Mark 8:29. Read more.
Jesus, who are You? I want to know the answer in a more deep and real way today.
Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.
I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!
