Treadmill

After several months of being in poor health, I was determined to get my strength back. My doctors instructed me to exercise regularly, but my extended inactivity and illness had made me very weak. Slowly, I started walking on the treadmill everyday. One step at a time, I persevered through each workout. As I took each labored step, I imagined myself running. I felt free and strong and knew that someday, I would run.!

Do Good - If you are able, do you exercise regularly? Whether you can do a lot or a little, do something today. Go for a short walk during lunch. Stretch, move, and appreciate the body God has given you.

As I pictured myself running, I had no idea that in just three years I would complete a marathon! For almost the entire 26.2 miles of the race, I could not stop smiling. I crossed the finish line with my hands in the air and tears in my eyes. I had run!

"Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will run and not grow weary," Isaiah 40:30-31. Click here to read more.

Lord, whether it is a lot or a little, thanks for the physical strength and health you have given us.

Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

Sara

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!

Blessings,
Sara
