Playground

At recess in elementary school, my classmates and I never just casually walked outside and looked around the playground. Instead, when we finished lunch, we gathered by the door in the cafeteria waiting anxiously to be let out. When we got the signal, the supervisor stepped out of the way, and we ran outside as fast as we could. We were free, and we couldn’t wait to play!

Do Good - Throughout your day, create happy anticipation. Look forward to lunch, to being home after work, to spending time with family, to whatever you have on your calendar. You may not actually wait at the door and run, but go into each new activity with excitement!

As a kid, it’s very acceptable to run out onto a playground. As an adult, I find that I have to remind myself that this is the kind of enthusiasm God aches for me to have in my work, family, and relationship with Him! What a great feeling to live with happy anticipation and energy!

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.” I Corinthians 9:24. Read I Corinthians 9:24-27.

Jesus, forgive me for being so complacent in my life. I choose to live with focus and energy. Thanks for all that I get to experience today.

Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

Sara

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!

Blessings,
Sara
