Persistence
Up To Know Good on Tuesday
September 05, 2006
A few years ago, I committed myself to getting healthy. I was about forty pounds overweight, and I wanted more energy and vitality in my everyday life. I joined a local fitness center. Then, each night as I fell asleep, I told myself what workout I would do the next day. When I woke up, the decision was already made, so I would get dressed and go exercise. I didnt worry about having the best or greatest workout. I simply got up and exercised every day.
Do Good - What is one healthy change you can make in your daily life? Perhaps it is going for a walk. Maybe its preparing nourishing delicious meals. It might be something as simple as getting out of bed and saying something positive at the start of each day.
I was prepared to spend years losing weight. I had no idea how long it might take me to get fit, but to my surprise, I was at my ideal weight within less than a year with more energy to truly enjoy my life! Now I am persistent about staying active and fit in my life.
Let us not grow weary in doing what is good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9. Click here to read Galatians 6:7-10.
Lord, thank you for the life Youve given me. Help me to enjoy everyday by making consistent healthy choices.
Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.
I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!
Blessings,
Sara
