Sensing God
Up To Know Good on Wednesday
October 18, 2006

Im not much of a morning person, but Myron is. When we married over two years ago, we agreed to keep a similar wake/sleep schedule. As a result of waking up early most mornings, I enjoy many gorgeous mountain sunrises. We have windows and a view along the east side of our house, and I love walking into the living room as it glows a warm red, orange, and yellow. It is a glorious sight at the beginning of the day.
Do Good - Plan a time to watch either the sunrise or the sunset. Enjoy viewing the myriad of colors as the sun moves above or below the horizon.
One particular morning, I stood completely amazed at the rich, red-orange glow of the morning sky. Suddenly rays of bright sunshine began to burst through the evergreens around our home. It was breathtaking, and I was filled with a deep sense of gratitude for being awake to enjoy it. It was a reminder to me to stop and look around and to take in all of the beauty that God creates everyday in my life.
For since the creation of the world Gods invisible qualities=97his eternal power and divine nature=97have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, Romans 1:20. Click to read more of this passage.
God, I am so grateful for the beauty of the sunrises and sunsets both in the sky and in my life. Thank You for creating them all.
Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!
Blessings,
Sara
