Up To Know Good on Wednesday
November 15, 2006

There are 168 hours in a week. I sleep an average of 56 of those hours, work an average of 40, commute about 8, and eat for about 16. Even with these rough estimates, that leaves me over 43 hours in every week. Add in time for exercise, hygiene, laundry, cleaning and errands, and Im down to about 25 hours. Then theres church, time with family, socializing with friends, phone conversations, email, and suddenly I have only 10 hours left. I spend time doing my hobby, catch my favorite weekly TV shows, and now I have an hour. I still have 1 extra hour!
Do Good = Write down how you want to spend and invest your time for the next week. At the end of each day, reflect on how you actually spent that time. At the end of the week, choose one time spender and turn it into a time investment.
Its tempting to feel like we never have enough time. How much would be enough? When I take a moment to reflect on how many hours we really have in each week, Im amazed that I ever perceive a shortage.
God called the light day and the darkness he called night. And there was evening, and there was morning = the first day.- Genesis 1=5. Click here to read Genesis 1.
God, thank You for giving us all the time we need to live the life You intended for us to live.
Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!
Blessings,
Sara
