Just A Little Faith
Up To Know Good on Tuesday
November 21, 2006
I love puzzles. I like jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku, crosswords, and three-dimensional brainteasers that you have to put together or take apart. My grandpa had one of the latter. I remember trying for what seemed like hours to take two small pieces of metal apart. Finally I figured it out! Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to how I solved it, and on my next attempt I couldnt remember how to separate the pieces from one another.
Do Good - Find the puzzle page in a newspaper, mailer, or magazine. Cut one out and write across the blank puzzle SOLVED! Then, put it in a place to remind you that God already has all the answers to the mysteries you face in your life today.
Although I needed to know the steps to solve the three-dimensional puzzle more than once, we don't need to understand how God works. We don't need to focus on His processes so that we can handle the next problem in our lives on our own. Instead, with each new situation, we can simply rely on and believe in Him.
Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, Why couldnt we? He replied, Because you have so little faith. Matthew 17:19-20. Read more in Matthew 17:14-20.
God, I trust You to solve the puzzles Im facing in my life today.
Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.
I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!
Blessings,
Sara
