Great Expectations
Up To Know Good on Thursday

Beautiful Mountains

Seven and a half years ago I moved to Colorado from Minnesota. I prepared myself to feel out of place and uncomfortable for awhile. To my surprise, in just a few short months, I quickly felt even more at home in Denver than I had in Minneapolis. I had a church family, a relatively low-stress job, and friends that were great cooks and wonderful conversationalists.

Do Good - Think about a change you experienced that turned out better than you had planned. As you consider current change in your life, be open to this transition also exceeding your expectations.

There have been many, many changes in my life since moving to Colorado. Most recently, we moved from our mountain home in Evergreen to an apartment in the suburbs of Denver. We made this change for many reasons, and so far, it is also working out as well or better than we had hoped. Change naturally brings some anxiety and fear, but as we look ahead to the new and different in our lives, let’s also get excited and be open to the new possibilities we will encounter.

“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; He changes times and seasons;” Daniel 2:20a & 21a. Click here to read all of Daniel’s short prayer.

Lord, I look ahead to the changes in my life with hopeful expectation. Thanks for being with me through every new time and season.

Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!
