New Year, New Aspirations
Up To Know Good on Wednesday
January 03, 2007

At the beginning of the twentieth century, Ivy Lee - an efficiency expert, met with all of the top executives at Charles Schwab's company, Bethlehem Steel. He told each of them to make a list at the end of the day of the top six things they needed to accomplish tomorrow.
Do Good - Make a list of the top six tasks to be accomplished today. Put the least desirable task first, and at the end of the day put anything that doesn't get done onto a list of six tasks for tomorrow.
After ninety days, Charles Schwab saw such a difference in his company that he sent Ivy Lee a check for $35,000 - a huge sum today and especially nearly one hundred years ago! Let's take time to put our short-term goals into daily, realistic pieces. What we don't accomplish one day simply goes at the top of tomorrow's list, and little by little our big dreams will start to take shape.
"The LORD makes firm the steps of those who delight in him," Psalm 37:23. Click here to read more.
God, what are the top six things I need to accomplish today?
Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!
Blessings,
Sara
