God Said Hurry
Up To Know Good on Tuesday
January 09, 2007

Christmas of 2005 we were sitting with my family at my parents dining room table. We had just finished our traditional Christmas Day brunch after a relaxing morning of opening gifts in our pajamas. We were now pushed back from the table, sipping on the last of our tea or coffee and talking when my sister made a huge announcement. Almost as though she asked one of us to pass the salt, she said, Were expecting.
Do Good - Do you have great news (big or small) to share? Hurry to tell someone and celebrate!
For a moment we sat in stunned silence. Suddenly her calm announcement began to sink in, and I jumped up and threw my arms around her. Quiet awe was replaced with loud, excited conversation about babies and showers and the future birth of her baby. After the angel announced to Mary that she was miraculously expecting, I wonder if she had a moment of stunned silence. If so, it didnt last long as she soon rushed off to tell and see her cousin, Elizabeth. Lets take time to celebrate the great news in our lives by hurrying to share it with others.
At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, where she entered Zechariah's home and greeted Elizabeth. Luke 1:39- 40. Click here for more of the story.
God, thanks for the gifts of sharing great news and celebrating with others.
Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!
Blessings,
Sara
