Divine Interruptions
Up To Know Good on Monday

We have recently had a number of snow storms in the Denver, Colorado. While I don’t mind the snow or cold too much, I was frustrated when one of the latest blizzards kept me homebound. That day, I was planning to spend time with a friend looking at baby items, and instead my plans were interrupted.

Do Good - Decide today how you will respond the next time your plans are interrupted.

I spent my morning feeling unsettled and wondering what I should do with my time. I moped around the apartment feeling sorry for myself. After all, I was missing out on time with my friend to talk about the baby. A little later, I tried to keep myself company with some TV shows. At the end of the day, I felt even more tired and depleted. I realized that I had completely wasted my time. Regretfully, I decided that the next time my plans were interrupted; I would ask God how to spend my time rather than pout all day.

“Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God,” Psalm 42:5. Click here to read this Psalm.

God, forgive me for the time I’ve wasted feeling sorry for myself when things don’t go according to my plans.

Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

Sara

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!

Blessings,
Sara
