Divine Interruptions
Up To Know Good on Tuesday
January 23, 2007

I was in the midst of doing errands when my phone rang. I picked it up and checked out the number. It was Monica, a friend I wanted to connect with, but I had planned to call her later when I got home. I let the phone ring one more time as I decided what to do. As I pulled into a parking space, I decided to answer the phone.
Do Good - Interrupt someone today by stopping by or calling them. Ask how they are doing and how you can be praying for them.
Monica and I chatted for about fifteen minutes. As we closed our conversation, she asked how she could pray for me. I had been so focused on my to do list all day, that it took me a minute to respond. What a gift it was to have my busyness interrupted by her thoughtful friendship and offer of prayer. Lets not miss those moments in the midst of our hectic lives today.
"I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers," Philemon 1:4. Read a short blurb of this beautiful letter by Saint Paul.
Lord, interrupt my day with reminders to reach out and pray for others.
Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!
Blessings,
Sara
