Up To Know Good on Tuesday

I was in the midst of doing errands when my phone rang. I picked it up and checked out the number. It was Monica, a friend I wanted to connect with, but I had planned to call her later when I got home. I let the phone ring one more time as I decided what to do. As I pulled into a parking space, I decided to answer the phone.
Do Good - Interrupt someone today by stopping by or calling them. Ask how they are doing and how you can be praying for them.
Monica and I chatted for about fifteen minutes. As we closed our conversation, she asked how she could pray for me. I had been so focused on my to do list all day, that it took me a minute to respond. What a gift it was to have my busyness interrupted by her thoughtful friendship and offer of prayer. Let’s not miss those moments in the midst of our hectic lives today.
