The Beauty of Being - Up To Know Good on Friday

The Beauty of Being
Up To Know Good on Friday

Open Bible

I am starting to understand more profoundly what they mean by “expecting.” My husband and I are within almost a week of our baby’s due date. As we await her arrival, emotions of anxiety, excitement, certainty, uncertainty, patience and fear seem to course through me several times a day. With each involuntary kick and stretch in my belly, I wonder what she will look like and when I will get to meet her. I am certainly expecting!

Do Good - What are you waiting for? What are you doing in the waiting? How are you being in the waiting?

These days of waiting have become the perfect time to learn about the beauty of being. In my moments of uncertainty, the Lord teaches me to rely on Him. He is reassuring me that one of the most beautiful things I can do in the waiting is to be. Be alive; be with God. Be madly in love with Myron, and be thankful for our child and all that is come.

“Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;” Psalm 37:7. Click here to read more.

Thank You, Lord, for all that we can learn in times of waiting. You know what I am expecting, and as I wait today teach me more profoundly about the beauty of being.

Know Good. Do Good. Feel Good.

Sara

I pray that you have a great day as you experience and express God's love in fresh, real ways!

Blessings,
Sara
